Refund & Subscription Policy
14-day free trial
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial of Pareops Solo. No card details are required to start. You can stop using the service at any time during the trial with no charge and no cancellation step required.
Subscriptions and renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically — monthly subscriptions renew every month, annual subscriptions renew every 12 months — until you cancel. Renewals are charged in advance for the upcoming period.
Cancelling
You can cancel anytime from the Stripe Customer Portal linked inside the app sidebar. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep access until then, and you won't be charged again. We don't ask you to email us to cancel.
Refunds
Our default position is:
- Monthly subscriptions: we don't routinely refund unused portions of a monthly period. If you cancel mid-month, you keep access to the end of the month.
- Annual subscriptions: if you cancel within 30 days of an annual renewal and have used the service only minimally during that period, we'll consider a prorated refund of the unused portion. Email [email protected] with your account email and we'll respond within two working days.
- Service failures: if Pareops is materially unavailable for more than 24 cumulative hours within a billing period due to issues on our side, we'll credit a prorated portion of that period on request.
None of this affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, where they apply.
Switching plans
You can switch between Monthly and Annual at any time from the Customer Portal. Stripe handles prorated charges or credits automatically.
Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please email us first — we'll investigate within two working days and refund any error promptly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account until the dispute is resolved.
